Drømmen selv er bare en skygge - Shall I compare thee to a summer's day?

Fragment av et oljemaleri som det jobbes med. Det har stått stille en lang stund og modnet - kanskje på tide å fortsette i en annen rettning.............

“And since you know you cannot see yourself,
so well as by reflection, I, your glass,
will modestly discover to yourself,
that of yourself which you yet know not of.”

 “Are you sure/That we are awake? It seems to me/That yet we sleep, we dream”  - Shakespeare

Shall I compare thee to a summer's day?
Thou art more lovely and more temperate.
Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May,
And summer's lease hath all too short a date.
Sometime too hot the eye of heaven shines,
And often is his gold complexion dimmed;
And every fair from fair sometime declines,
By chance, or nature's changing course, untrimmed;
But thy eternal summer shall not fade,
Nor lose possession of that fair thou ow'st,
Nor shall death brag thou wand'rest in his shade,
When in eternal lines to Time thou grow'st.
So long as men can breathe, or eyes can see,
So long lives this, and this gives life to thee.
- William Shakespeare

 “Some are born great, others achieve greatness.”

“To be or not to be?' That is not the question. What is the question? The question is not one of being, but of becoming. 'To become more or not to become more' This is the question faced by each intelligence in our universe.”
― Truman G. MadsenEternal Man

“If one good deed in all my life I did,
I do repent it from my very soul.”

“The best is yet to come.”
― William Shakespeare

Discovering the self!

    "The self is not to be shaped,
    it is to be discovered.
    It is not to be desired, wished or prayed for...
    its true beauty is to be found in the mystery
    unfolding out of the moment."
